I HAVE MORE LIFE IN THE LAST FEW YEARS C OMPARED TO THE REST OF MY LIFE
And it only took a long time filled with mediocrity and self-imposed boundary (i.e. I decided upon myself what I can and cannot do) until I realize this sad fact
...damn, man. Just, damn.
Pardon this so sudden post - I'll write something with a little more substance next time =P

I dunno if others have experience this, but sometime, I think that I might have been born in the wrong time.
I thought of this a few times, when I consider how I don't think I'm catching up like I should with the surrounding.
...but then again, I suppose if I were born in an earlier time, I might have lamented on how I should have been born earlier instead.
Yeah, that's human nature for you: always complaining, always wanting something else...
And I'm not so sure about the measure of age - that is, how one should act at his/her age. Sometimes I think I'm quite slow for my age - not in terms of the speed of thinking, but more on mindset and opinion. Like I said, I am not aware of how people should really act for a certain age (besides the obvious, such as not being childish at my current age), but I somehow think that my present state should have be achieved when I was, say... 17 years old?
So in the end, a few words are playing in my head: evolution, moving forward, and rationality. Only one word is missing - and the one that should be here now: coherency and cohesiveness.
For some reason, I'm sure this kind of entry has been popping up here and now among my other entries...

Last Friday, my mechanical pencil broke.
So then I brought a new one.
And this morning, the said new mechanical pencil has gone missing.
...you don't know how pissed off I am now =I
Regardless, I forked out some money to buy a new one.
The end
So why do I care so much about the mechanical pencil? If you wanna know, I'm currently on a drawing spree, and I'm doing a certain... well, let's call it a mini project, shall we? And for my drawing, my modus operandi is my sketchbook, and my precious mechanical pencil.
Ehhh, I got my pencil, so I guess I should shut up now =x

I have two test this thursday, plus 2 other written assignment that I should have started working on now.
So why the hell did I spend the last 1 hour or so watching anime and browsing the net??
...I guess this is the part where I'd say, 'Yukkuri shiteitte ne!', huh? (a cookie for anyone who know where that phrase came from)
Anyway, the anime in question is Durarara!! - I'm currently on the 19th episode, and I'm loving the anime. Prior to watching the anime, I've heard some people saying something about the narration of the series. After watching a few episodes, I got what they meant, and I think it's (the narration, plus the anime in general) is excellent.
While watching the anime, I was somehow thinking of Texhnolyze. Both series are primarily based on a city and its inhabitant (which involve a certain amount of fighting and talk of human nature - although Durarara!! focus more on gang fighting, while Texhnolyze look at the violent aspect of human in whole)
What gotten me to make the comparison was the remark from a certain character from both series, who were excited when two group of people (or in the case of Durarara!!, 3, although in the case of Texhnolyze, another group entered later) were going to fight each other, instigated by a third (fourth?) party. It then made me wonder if there is any peacekeeper character who is going to show up in the later episodes of Durarara!!... if not, things are gonna be pretty ugly, like what happened in Texhnolyze (even with a character trying to instill peace between the gangs)
...OK, I should really get back to reading those notes... in the meantime, check out the opening of Durarara!! - it's one of those anime openings that I'd listen to whenever I watch an episode of the anime in question
In the next entry, I'll tell you the other thing I did in place of studying (hint: it also involve anime)

I just realised something about my rooms at the college:
During my first year, my room number was 307.
And then in my second year, the room number was 317.
And guess what is my room number this year?
It's 207.
Heh, maybe in some unseen place, coins are pouring out from a slot machine (perhaps metaphorically)
Yes yes, I'm bored, and I should really study for that test next week...

A cookie for anyone who could guess which song that the title is based off.
Anyway, the lyric are closely related to what I'm gonna say (heh): I dreamt that I was in high school again.
Well, that sounds normal and all, until I mentioned that in that dream, I went back to school AGAIN. Yes, again as in, coming back to school, even though I'm a twenty something now.
And to make it even better, this is perhaps the 3rd time I have this dream - I'd be different in each of those dreams, and so would the classmates.
Hoh, I dunno why these dreams start to occur recently. If you wanna know the truth, my time at high school was kinda eh. Not too bad, but looking back, I guess I didn't really lived it up like all other high schoolers (I was kind of a recluse, if you wanna know).
Eh, I dunno, I guess this is just my subconscious self telling me that I miss school...
Well, better get back to finishing some uni stuff then.
