Right, since I haven't posted anything here in ages (except as a mean to store data for my assignments - then, my college's PC won't accept thumbdrive - shhh...),so why the heck not?
Yesterday, I just got back from college - but it's not merely for Christmas, as Eidiladha is on the 20th. I'm supposed to be doing some assignments and tutorials, but eh. Procrastination ftw :P
Oh yes, I brought a Massive Attack box set: Singles Collection 90/98 the other day! Basically, the 11 CD box set contains all their singles from the year 1990 to 1998, with some (okay, a lot) of remixs and b-sides there as well. The older stuff is okay, but somehow I prefer their 1998 singles release (namely Angel, Risingson, Tear Drop and Inertia Creep) but that may be because I haven't *actually* brought their CDs except for the 2001's 100th Window...
Hm, anyway... my favourite songs off the box set are:
-Inertia Creep
-Tear Drop
-Risingson
-Inertia Creep (Manic Street Preachers version) - man, I never knew Manic Street Preachers can do remix; this song's probably the best mix in the box set
-Inertia Creep (State of Bengal mix)
-Risingson (Underdog remix)
-Karmacoma (Napoli Trip)
-Superpredator
-Reflection
Mm, I'll probably go off hunting for some Radiohead CDs after this (I still can't seem to find them in any stores nearby ><)
Oh yes, and I brought J.D. Salinger's The Cather in the Rye as well. I plan to read it once I'm finished with Pride and Prejudice (which belongs to my sister)... I don't know much about the book, except that I recalled that Charles Mason has read the book), and that it is mentioned in Ghost in the Shell. I wonder if the book can really leads to rebellion and all? Hm...
Here's the pic, if anyone is interested (yeah, the box set is in sad state, isn't it?):
